Just got home from the Dutch premiere of U23D.... A M A Z I N G !!!
Bit too much of a greatest hits set for a U2 fan, but I understand they cannot be the primary target group for this film. Need to fill these theaters people!
It's amazing to see this band up close, even though Bono's big gestures seem a bit out of place if your a couple of inches in front of him ;-)
My top moments (for now):
- Bullet and Love & Peace Or Else included in a greatest hits set...
- Getting close and personal during Sunday Bloody Sunday...
- Ducking for mic stands and bass necks several times...
- Getting a real good feel of Larry fabulous drumming...
- Fucking up The Fly intro and not editing it out...
